Welcome to the GregoArt website. The Artist and Short Story Writer affectionately known across America as "Grego" is actually Gregory Michael Maness who was born 1959 in Miami, Florida. Known to be some what of a recluse, "Grego" currently resides in America's finest city of San Diego, not far away from the Ocean once again. Although he very rarely participates in commercialized Art Fairs of self-promotion, his philosophy is a very simple one. "If you are willing to work hard enough to create an idea from deep within your soul, and it turns into a magical painting or clever short story that people really want in their lives, then you are a success. If you are fortunate enough to have developed a dedicated following of supporters who really appreciate your work, then you have received a Blessing, and that is enough for you to live with for the rest of your life".

A massive compilation of original mixed medium paintings, sketches and clever short stories completed at GregoArt Studios appear on this very unique web site that has taken me six years to formulate, and is still a work in progress. I am, and always will be, influenced by the Master Painter "Vincent Van Gogh", and hopefully my powerful and original art work will also leave you breathless as you discover new meaning to the words self-dedication. My unique amalgamation of explosive, oil color paints on canvas, create a new inspiration for all of us to appreciate in the new Millennium.

I have added several new sections late in 2002 that originally were not on the GregoArt web site that debuted in the year 2000. Once again it has become a challenge to upgrade this massive site, and it has taken me, and close associates, thousands of hours to get caught up with everything that I would like to share with you. More digital high resolution photographs of my art work have been added, and a new "Clever Short Stories" section offers not only a rare glimpse inside my mind, but also delivers unique original paintings at the bottoms of some of the stories that belong with the story. Back by popular demand is the GregoArt limited-edition, silk screened Tee Shirts, and other cool stuff that are now available for purchase in limited quantities on this website by clicking on the brand new Tee-Shirt Button. Another exciting new button added near the top of the home page is entitled "Beatle Brunch Art in Progress". It is a joint project between BeatleBrunch.com and GregoArt, in which I begin a series of new paintings dedicated to the Beatles. Loyal fans who drop in on the BeatleBrunch.com website have a link to this website in order to follow my weekly progress of the tribute Beatles paintings.

I realize that to bring forth a website of this magnitude required me to surround myself with true believers. Many very talented, clever, and creative minds joined forces with me to create this "Millennium and Beyond" website for you to enjoy. So as you and your magic mouse slowly wander thru the different screens of this big web site, make sure that you take your time, and try to revisit me from time to time. Because one trip, as you already know, is never enough. There is also a "Contact Grego" button located near the bottom of the Home Page for you to send me an email to share your comments. If you are out and about in southern California this year you can view original GregoArt oil paintings which are currently on rotating display at both of the Global Laser Vision Centers, where you can also pick up a free copy of the short story I wrote entitled "Magical Mystery Tour".

In closing, I would like to say "Thank You" to my Dream Team, consisting of Jeanne Lope my clever web site designer, who can be reached at her email address anewcreation@earthlink.net. Another very special "Thank You" must also go out to my wife Paula Maness, and to the good Lord above, for you both have given me the courage and faith to go forward, and whose constant guidance has kept this project from derailing numerous times. It is with deep conviction that I continue my work with you both on a daily basis. Finally, to all of you who have dropped by today, remember one thing This is a big site to roam around in with lots of paintings to see and short stories to read; so please, do me a small favor that will keep this website fresh on your mind and in the "favorites" section of your personal computer.
Remember to tell your friends If you like Van Gogh, then try Grego.
